About Us

Lola Betty’s Kitchen traces its roots to weekends at the family matriarch’s home, where loved ones—related by blood and by bond—gathered around a table overflowing with Filipino dishes. From pancit and lumpia to smoked fish and pinakbet, Lola Betty cooked enough for everyone to enjoy and take home. After her passing on March 14, 2010, her recipes became the glue that kept the family together—and the inspiration for what would become Lola Betty’s Kitchen.
Today, the team shares those cherished recipes with the Camarillo, CA community, offering handmade Filipino food, desserts, and more. Every dish is crafted with care and respect for cultural roots, preserving the traditional flavors that defined Lola Betty’s table and inviting guests to experience the comfort of home in every bite.
Founded in 2021 as a pop-up caterer, the concept grew into a food truck and has since become a brick-and-mortar destination. Throughout that journey, the mission has remained the same: preserve tradition, serve with heart, and feed the community well.
Lola Betty’s Kitchen is owned by Adelia and Tyrone Lasala—Lola Betty’s daughter and son-in-law—who continue her legacy of generosity, hospitality, and food made with love. Guests are invited to celebrate the heart and soul of Filipino cooking, one delicious plate at a time.
